I know I said the start of school for the kids was the “Most wonderful time of the year”, however, I feel this could be it!!! Today I got a few pieces from the Christmas in New York Holiday Collection by Too Faced! I cannot tell you how excited I am. I figured I would show you guys what I got and some swatches to see if this is something you might want to pick up for yourself or maybe someone on that holiday list that either LOVES or needs to LOVE some make up! All of the colors are absolutely gorgeous! I am very impressed with the pigment of everything and the smell…. erhmahgerd!!! Can we just take a moment to discuss the smell!!!?? Its amazing!!!!
Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe and Let it Glow. I ordered these off of the Too Faced website.
The packaging is amazing. It really captures the feeling of New York with one of its most iconic hotels!
You then lift off the roof and swing open the doors to reveal THREE palettes inside and a travel size of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara!
The first palette is Eggnog Latte.
These smell like Eggnog Latte!!
Here are the swatches for Eggnog Latte!
The second palette is Peppermint Mocha.
These smell like Peppermint Mocha and I LOVE Sprinkles!!!
Here are the swatches for Peppermint Mocha!
Finally we have the Gingerbread Cookie palette.
Gingersnap is exceptionally gorgeous and looks like a foil! Plus it smells like gingerbread!!
Gingersnap and Winter Dream are my favorite from this palette!
Here are the blushes from each palette. Peach Cobbler is from Eggnog Latte, Santa Baby is from Peppermint Mocha and Gingerbread is from Gingerbread Cookie.
Here is what the scene on the inside of the box looks like after you remove all the palettes.
Overall I am very impressed with this collection. There is a lot of different looks you can do with these palettes. There is even a mini look book with four example looks for you to get started. This retails for $49 and you can purchase it at Too Faced.
Let me know if you’re getting one, already have one, or are planning to surprise someone for Christmas!
